Hello! I’m a fourth year student at Dawson College.
For my Integrating Activity class I did a remix of a piece I want to share with you. The piece is called : Symphony of The Boreal Wind from Genshin Impact.
The applications I used for this project are Logic Pro X for the remixes and Musescore for the arrangements. My goal is to discover how far I can go with digital instruments to find their limitations in how realistic I could make them sound. There are symbolisms in this piece such as the blizzards symbolized by the piano and the laments of people in the choirs.
My inspiration comes from the original author Yu-peng Chen for Symphony of The Boreal Wind. I quite like this piece because of its similarity with classical movements. I think the sad backstory this song has, talking about a deity who lets his physical body die, to watch over the country as a spirit.
